San Francisco, California
On our second day in beautiful San Fran, we did what any curious visitor would do, and touristed it up a bit. The Walt Disney Family Museum was first on my list of course, followed by some Painted Ladies action, the Golden Gate Bridge, Swan Oyster Depot for some mollusk fun, and topped the day off with a magic show…yes a magic show! Personally, I find being a tourist incredibly fulfilling. Getting to check historically relevant locations or architectural wonder off my bucket list, totally gives my OCD a field day. If only the practice wasn’t associated with Hawaiian shirts, crocs, and visors. Today, I take a stand, never again will tube socks with sandals and questionable sunscreen application be synonymous with visiting culturally pertinent locals. Tourist shaming ends now!…as I do it wearing fucking fringe. BOOYAH!…is booyah still a thing?

San Francisco, California
A month ago my wonderful husband surprised me with my dream road trip for my birthday! The California coast, just him and I for two weeks, I was in heaven. This was our first day post arrival in San Fan, a city I have never visited, but couldn’t wait to discover. Being a big fan of the psychedelic movement, to be in the mecca where it all pretty much began was pretty fucking badass. Therefore I decided to dress like a badass…not really. Chanel’s Paris/Dallas collection had burned a hole in my wallet, so I figured why not do this theme right. So I present to you Calamity “Desperado” Rose, my cowgirl alter ego, or so says this Cowboy Name Generator.
Thank you Chanel, for making me a cowboy

Choosing our honeymoon location was a daunting task, to say the least. Wedding planning was tough alright, but nothing was quite as annoyingly hard as deciding on which location we would bump uglies for our first 2 weeks as a married couple. Seriously we even resorted to sticking Africa, India, Bora Bora, Indonesia, and Italy on pieces of paper in a hat and trying to let fate decide for us. Ya…we didn’t like fate’s answer, so we just kept drawing another option out until none were left. Finally, it was Peter who read a GQ article on spending your honeymoon in this secluded villa in Corfu, Greece! It was settled, we were getting that villa…That didn’t happen. Turns out like millions of people read GQ and that villa was booked until 2019 so we were back at square one. Well sort of… We continued looking at villas in Greece and settled for Santorini, but before we could eat some tzatziki I decided we should be making a pit stop. It was a long flight after all so why not spend a couple days somewhere in between. Paris, it had to be Paris. All so we could go to Le Ponts Des Arts, and finally throw the key to our lock and hearts in la Seine. Cheesy, wonderful, and totally honeymoon appropriate.

For the past month or so you have followed the events, that I deem the most important of my life. I strayed from the blog’s original concept so I could share it all with you, but now it’s time to get back to our roots with an #OOTD, and what better place to do it then Paris. After becoming his Mrs. we jetted away to the city of lights with a pretty severe hangover, and became honeymooners. On our way to Paris, I had the incredible pleasure of speaking to Mr. Christian Louboutin, on our Air France flight from Miami. After sharing with him that I had worn his white Impera a few days before for our rehearsal dinner, he wished us a happy life together and I had to document this momentous meeting at 10,000 feet. We spoke until the flight attendant asked him to return to his seat and the rest is history. Perfect moments like these make me believe in fate. When we finally arrived in the city of love we bumped into lady Eiffel, she photobombed quite a bit during our stay, as she did during this first evening out together. It was time to explore and better yet…eat!
