guilty conscience fashion blog

For all who are unaware, we recently lost a ton of content due to our Data Centre crashing and leaving us shit out of luck. Because of this, I have spent the past days trying to get our site back in order, and stressing out professionally. Our Osheaga post was the most recent posted and therefore did not make the back up cut  and died somewhere in the webosphere. I’m sure what I wrote was clever but I have no desire to attempt to replicate my thoughts from last week.  Instead I give you this little frustrated blurb to update you on the current situation. They say a picture is worth a thousand words…so here are over 20 000 words documenting our weekend at Osheaga! _W7C9039 _W7C8979 _W7C9087 _W7C8992 _W7C9073 _W7C9017 _W7C9048 _W7C9076 _W7C9054 _W7C9117 _W7C9079 _W7C9133

Be careful what you wish for. During our first day in Miami I may have complained of my seriously pasty nature, but never did I imagine that this state would be followed by the worst motherfuckin’ sunburn of life. I thought being Taylor Swift RED would be the lesser of two evils, but perhaps I was mistaken. Not only was this as unattractive as my previous comrade paleness, but to top it off, the side effects hurt like a bitch. It’s all good though, I kept the faith going and this red abomination  turned into what some consider a beautiful tan. To be continued…Until you see phase three of my skin tone story, here are a few images from our day out in Miamo! Enjoy my little chickens! 2014-10-11 at 17-12-24 2014-10-11 at 17-07-48 2014-10-11 at 17-11-36 2014-10-11 at 17-05-18 2014-10-11 at 17-07-53 2014-10-11 at 17-11-49 2014-10-11 at 17-06-50 2014-10-11 at 17-06-23 2014-10-11 at 17-05-25 2014-10-11 at 17-12-11 2014-10-11 at 17-09-19 2014-10-11 at 17-05-09 Jungle Boogie

It’s A Beach Of A Living

2014-04-04 at 13-36-13 Soho Beach House Miami

The weather in Montreal has been…let’s just say less than awesome, so being able to head down to Miami this past weekend to catch some rays was a treat. As soon as we landed on sunny turf we changed into beach gear and headed to Soho Beach House to meet up with some friends and take advantage of the tanning opportunity, as I myself, had become a little translucent over the past weeks in my homeland of Canada. After spending a couple hours enjoying the sand, surf, and coconuts…yes rum filled coconuts, we did a little shopping down in the Wynwood art district at the Del Toro store and I got myself a couple of pairs including one from their Disney collaboration…duh! We ended our first day back in the sunshine state with date night at Nobu followed by watching Chelsea Handler make an ass out of herself at the Filmore Theater. By the end of it we were spent, pooped even you might say. The combination of all of my favourite things from beach to shoe shopping, to sushi to Chelsea was pretty fantastical. Twas a great day, and it all started in my indian potato sack. 2014-04-04 at 13-35-02 2014-04-04 at 13-29-14 2014-04-04 at 13-34-08 2014-04-04 at 13-30-43 2014-04-04 at 13-36-53 2014-04-04 at 13-29-49 2014-04-04 at 13-31-03 2014-04-04 at 13-34-42 2014-04-04 at 13-32-28 2014-04-04 at 13-36-21 2014-04-04 at 13-32-47 2014-04-04 at 13-34-16 Summatime is that you?

Downton Abbey ruined my life

Look 23 - 7 Leaving Montreal

Finally we get to the good stuff! Though NYFW was already last week, it seems as though time flies by when you’re watching Downton Abbey. Seriously, My pile of responsibilities was almost reaching the ceiling and for some reason I could not give two shits, as long as I found out if Mary and Matthew were going to tie the knot, and that Bates was going to make it out of jail. A week later i’m already at season 3, so no spoilers readers PLEASE, I’ve been working so very hard to catch up. This “masterpiece classic” is a victorian novel on screen, and I simply cannot get enough. Nothing guilty about this pleasure! Now getting back to what a street style blog is supposed to be about…oops my A.D.D often gets the best of me when I pen these, as you have all probably noticed. We decided to drive up to New York instead flying so comfort was essential, therefore I went for this BCBG runway sweatsuit of sorts. I’ve always been a fan of wearing matching separates, which is considered a serious offence by many…but what can I say, i’m constipated, couldn’t give a shit.
