Walt Disney World, Florida
If anyone knows anything about me, it’s that Disney makes my world go ’round. No exaggeration here. It rocks my world, makes my heart skip a beat, puts a spring in my step…you get the point. So when I get to mix two of the great passions of my life, being styling and my main mouse, you could say I get pretty excited. What better way to ring in the new year than with an #OOTD from the happiest place on earth! Creating outfits for the parks inspired by Disney decades past, current trends, or my favourite characters, is probably the most fun I have getting dressed. In fact, I’m about to get out of bed and have myself a good ol’ time getting dressed for our final day here in Magic Kingdom. Going to keep this one short as adventure awaits, but make sure to check out my daily dose of Minnie style and shenanigans around the park on Instagram…Wishing you all a magical 2018, and I cannot wait to share another year of fashion, food, travel, and Mickey together!
Saint-Laurent sunnies, Topshop choker, Julianna Isabella necklace, Lazy Oaf cardigan, Chloé slip dress, Christopher Raeburn Mickey bag, and Balenciaga “Speed” sneakers.
Is it just me or did I try really hard to look like a librarian this day. While in Texas last month I had the best time getting dressed in my best interpretation of southern garb. From cowgal touches, to 70s prairie companion flair, this was the most fun I had getting dressed since festival season. I guess KidRock was right because I DO want to be a cowboy baby. This look was all kinds of Chloé inspired and I had a great time living in a different decade for the day.

Hey fwiends! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately, but all this long awaited free time has made me pick up old hobbies I love, and they’ve been keeping me happily busy! Don’t worry it’s not squash. I’m here today to tell you all about the final day of Coachella, which might just have been the best one yet. We went to the grounds early before anyone really shows up, not to enjoy the scenery, but to eat. After I got that taken care of, we walked around, had some morning margaritas, ate a little more and headed back to our place for an outfit change, followed by this middle of butt fuck nowhere #OOTD shoot. I mean when you’re in the desert, you have to venture out into the unknown you know? Also it makes for a pretty beautiful badass background (alliteration watsup!). We then returned to the festival for a pretty great evening line up.
We felt connected to the universe and cried a little while singing along to “Home” at Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, and did what can only be described as african tribe inspired dance moves with Alexander Wang and his model army during Major Lazer. The sleeper hit of the weekend had to be Sia. That set was the most creative use of stage time I’ve seen at Coachella and maybe anywhere really. Because she’s always hiding her pretty face, actors, artists, and dancers interpreted every song from her repertoire (including Breathe Me, I cried a little for that too) in the most beautifully WTF kinda ways. Maddie Ziegler did some pirouettes, Kristen Wiig emoted, and Shia Labeouf didn’t show up. Typical. Calvin Harris then came out and put on a better show than I could have ever anticipated. Big Sean said hi, and then Rihanna came out and gave the the rendition of We Found Love I had always dreamed of witnessing. Honestly it was another solid night added to an unbelievably solid weekend! Coachella always has the greatest energy and you leave there feeling warm with hope and appreciation for the world we live in. Well, that and super fucking tired. Drinking and dancing for 3 days straight will do that to you.
Fack boho I’m giving alien vibes
Dior “So Real” sunnies, Necklaces from Fallon, J Crew, and Lalla, For Love and Lemons bathing suit and crochet matching separates, Chloé “Faye” bag, and Acne “Pistol” boots.
I know what you are thinking…yes, that’s some very strategic boob placement I have going on there, but hey, if Halle Berry managed to keep her large mammary glands in check while winning an Oscar, I think I can handle these little guys. Have I made you uncomfortable with all the tit talk? I’m sorry, but the systematic desexualization of women is the only way we bitches are ever getting some equality up in here…so really, #sorrynotsorry alright. Now that I’ve made you uncomfortable and pushed some social commentary down your throats, time to talk about Coachella day 2!
It was pretty great. We started the day eating breakfast burritos with that kid from Modern Family, then headed to a mansion in the desert. As you can tell the view wasn’t too shabby, and we were in great company, oh hay gal pal Rocky Barnes! After a fantastic day pool/cliff side party, we took a microwave disguised as a party bus to the festival. Yes kids, that was a lame “it was real hot” joke. Once we arrived we ate at our favourite handroll bar in the Rose Garden, and after I died and went to heaven, we watched some live music.
After James Bay stole my heart we headed to the main stage for more food and Ice Cube. Though every performance felt like a magical moment, one of the highlights from the weekend was seeing Sam Smith walk out during the Disclosure set. It also made me realize I don’t know the words to Disclosure songs, but am very good at mumbling lyrics and dancing really hard. We finished the night with a 3 hour set from one of the most iconic rock n’ roll bands of all time. So ya, Guns N’ Roses was pretty cool, in that like, unforgettable memory I will cherish forever kinda way…
It’s a crown not a native headpiece k?
