New York, New York
Paris fashion week is about to begin on the other side of the pond, but it wasn’t so long ago we were attending a french brand’s show in New York. Well a french couturier later acquired by an american designer, but you know….tomayto, tomahto. It was the 30th anniversary of the brand I wore religiously in high school, and I was blown away not only by what I saw, but more so by what I didn’t see. Hérve Léger’s Spring/Summer ’16 collection didn’t have one bandage dress in sight, instead the line evolved to innovative surface design and high-impact textured patterns created by hand-weaved techniques like macramé, knotting and intricate floral appliqué work. Do not fear…the bodycon silhouettes were still very much present, but the addition of flared trousers to the line added an element of cool, that I couldn’t have predicted would look so damn slick paired with their particular aesthetic. Also, anyone putting bell sleeves on the runway this season has my vote, and the ones presented were beautifully structured and brought a contemporary edge to the style usually reserved for flowing fabrics. The collection was followed by a curated finale of retrospective signature pieces from 2009 until present. Each piece embodied the vision and the evolution of the brand’s iconic techniques and took me on a pleasant stroll down memory lane. One thing is certain…Heve Leger will no longer be a brand synonymous with school dances, YSL tribute pumps, or my closet archives. I want me some printed Hérve pants and I want them now!
I decided to commit to this NYFW thing, and wear the Wang leather and fur jacket in the hot hot heat
Dior “Technologic” sunglasses and missmatched earrings, Alexander Wang jacket, Nasty Gal blouse, Zara belt, vintage Calvin Klein shorts, Louis Vuitton “Petite Malle”, and Balenciaga boots later switched for Adidas “Superstar” sneakers.
I know, I’m late, I’m sorry. From Ireland, to LA, to a half marathon in Disneyland, and now having finally arrived to New York for Fashion Week, we’ve been a tad busy/fucking exhausted lately. My most sincerest apologies for the delay, but hopefully you have been keeping up with our daily shenanigans on INSTAGRAM, cus we’ve been up to a lot of cool shit. Anywhoo, as I mentioned I just woke up in New York, super jet lagged, and with a fun little plane cold, so if this post feels a little confused blame the NyQuil. We will be covering a couple shows this week, and I cannot wait to share it all with you guys! This post however is long overdue. Earlier this Summer we had the chance to attend Montreal based brand, Kilani‘s 7 deadly sins collection reveal in Montreal. From crocodile embossed leather, to rich cognac tones, every clutch, purse, and weekend bag was beautifully structured, lush, and kinda to die. I even confessed to the designer that I developed a little crush on his Pride City Bag. I pined myself for more of a Gluttony gal for obvious reasons, but hey, I can work with pride. Here are a couple photos from the event and the #OOTD that came with it. Side note: I slightly ripped these pants on the way to the event and then totally split them on the way home, so this will be their last appearance on the blog. Thankfully I was wearing underpants, and left my cock ring at home, so it was only mildly embarrassing. Sorry Lenny. I will make sure to report back sooner rather then later, pinky promise, and to stay in the loop, be sure to follow our Fashion Week adventures on INSTAGRAM. It’s gonna be good.

Walt Disney World, Florida
Hi gang, happy Tuesday! I am currently at our country home being harassed incessantly by my family so I think ill keep this one short. You see, they have decided to fight about everything today so I must join in on the fun. Joy. Anywhoo, these images were captured of me in the wild, in my preferred habitat…Disney World. The Damien Hirst piece pictured on my shirt, is one of my favourite art works (no shit sherlock, right) so I was delighted that he collaborated with Marc Jacobs, so I could own a little part of it and support a good cause. The real deal has gone for £902,500 in the past, so ya…not going to be hanging on my wall anytime soon. Hope you have a wonderful day and that your close ones don’t exasperate the shit out of you like they are doing me.

First things first, happy belated birthday to the childhood icon that is Barbie! So as predicted…I went to Disney World. What can I say, I’m an addict…It was only three and a half hours away, my brother was there with his bambinos, and I had some free time. My little vacation with the fam got in the way of my posting routine, therefore I haven’t graced your computer screens in over a week. Sawy ’bout dat, but you know, distance makes the heart grow fonder and what not. Before I left on my amazing, magic filled trip, we spent the day shopping and eating (yes, a lot of eating) in Miami’s colourful Design District. I took this opportunity to sport some Wildfox, as well as my new favourite vintage bottoms, courtesy of Rialto Jeans Project. They are a great brand creating one of a kind, hand painted, vintage jeans for a great cause, I strongly suggest you go check them out. Anywhoo, we shot this #OOTD in this cool little spot Ms.Barbara Millicent Roberts (ya, that’s Barbie’s full name you careless kids) wouldn’t be caught dead at, but with a colour scheme she definitely would have approved of. Not quite Dreamhouse pink, but close enough.
