See what I did there…with the title. So clever I know. On the last day of possibly the worst year the 2000s had ever seen, I look back fondly on the less shitty times the big sixteen had to offer. My parents got engaged and married after 35 years together, we traveled Europe as a family for the first time in years, we visited Disney theme parks so many times we’ve lost count, my beautiful goddaughter was born, we launched WERKS, collaborated with amazing brands and met designers I admire greatly, oh and we started our YouTube channel, so that’s pretty cool. On a personal level I guess this year wasn’t as bad as all the kids are saying these days. That Dan Scott from One Tree Hill meme is still going to make me laugh though. I wish you all a beautiful last day on 2016, and look forward to all the blessing 2017 has to offer. We made it through one literal hell of a year…so it can only get better from here right?

If you know anything about me, you know that I live and breathe for all things Disney. Actually, I also eat, sleep, and dream Disney, and have been doing so since my toddler days watching The Lion King in my footsie pyjamas, and having the time of my life in the parks living large sitting on my fathers shoulders to watch the castle show. So, you can only imagine my stupendous enthusiasm, when I was invited to join the Disney family as a Disney Style contributor. Am I saying Disney too much? DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY! I’m sorry…I’m excited. I thought I would take a second to underline this dream come true collaboration with my favourite Mouse, by sharing an #OOTD from our day in Disneyland Paris this past September. We had to visit our friend Remy’s new restaurant and ride while in the city of lights, and try his famous ratatouille of course (…it made me believe in vegetables again). It was a perfect park day with the people I love, reminiscent on the ones I had as a little one, and we made memories I’m going to remember for a very long time. I may not have ridden on my father’s shoulders this time, but being there all together, made for a pretty magical day. Make sure to check out Disney Style for all your Disney fashion tips, news, and ideas, and to see all the fun park/street style I muster up! See ya’ real soon!

For all who are unaware, we recently lost a ton of content due to our Data Centre crashing and leaving us shit out of luck. Because of this, I have spent the past days trying to get our site back in order, and stressing out professionally. Our Osheaga post was the most recent posted and therefore did not make the back up cut and died somewhere in the webosphere. I’m sure what I wrote was clever but I have no desire to attempt to replicate my thoughts from last week. Instead I give you this little frustrated blurb to update you on the current situation. They say a picture is worth a thousand words…so here are over 20 000 words documenting our weekend at Osheaga!
Looking back wearing that “Queen of Beers” bodysuit might have been more sucessful on day 1…you know…pre beers.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne! Bet you never knew the lyrics to that bad boy did you?…drunk humming the tune, has always gotten me through the ball drop, and hey I know it in french!…I think. Happy new year to all our readers here at ConscienceCoupable.com! Can you believe 2016 has been in full swing for a week already? Absolute madness if you ask me. Soon enough I’ll have to look up those god forsaken lyrics again, not to embarrass myself when the 2017 countdown concludes. Where has time gone, and why does it insist on running away from me. Good thing we spent the beginning of what promises to be a beautiful new year, in my favourite place on the planet…Disney World. I’ve been known to visit the happiest place on earth quite often, but this time my husband and I were accompanied by my parents, which always feels extra special. After all, the obsession started because they indulged a toddler, and visited my boyfriend Mickey a little more than annually throughout my formative years. Bet they are rethinking that now! We spent NYE overdressed in Epcot, at Monsieur Paul, which has been a bit a tradition in years past. It was hot, crowded, and wonderful, like I had always remembered it, and we rang in 2016 with my favourite fireworks, and yes, that song. Anyways this post comes a little late to express my gratitude for the fun and success of 2015, and to wish you all the greatest happiness in this new year. Love you my little chickens.Yes, shooting a NYE #OOTD at 6 pm, because someone forgot the flash, is as sweaty as it looks.
