Hello my little chickens! After all this YouTube content we’ve been uploading, it almost slipped my mind to share this understated #OOTD this week! Firstly, I wanted to thank you all for all the wonderful support and love you’ve shown for our new channel! We’ve had so much fun producing content for it, and hearing all your positive feedback has made it all worth while. I enjoy sharing more of myself with you guys in a medium other than the written word, and pouty pictures, and am so happy you like watching it as well.

After 2 months of traveling we finally returned from the last leg of our trip in Los Angeles and couldn’t be happier to be home. Well I was before I looked at these sunny Los Angeles photos anyway. Let’s just say Mr. Sun isn’t too eager to show off his winter bod over here in Canadialand. That being said it is a lovely change of scenery, and I am welcoming the snow with open arms…well not literally, because…well you know. I felt like I had so much to say how did this post turn into a conversation about weather. I should be ashamed of myself.

During our stay in LA we had the pleasure of staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and it truly was a PLEASURE. Everything from the service, to the decor, made me feel all kinds of special, and turns out living in a pink, banana leaf wonderland agrees with me more than I would have thought. Also there’s the fact that they leave you cookies at turndown service, so they won me over rather easily. We shot this #OOTD in the hotel’s gardens, which resemble what Lisa Vanderpump imagines heaven to be like. I hope you guys enjoy, and don’t forget to check out my first ever haul of all the goodies I brought back from L.A. on our channel!

Zebra print, elephant bags, safari vests, OH MY.

Balenciaga dad hat, Ray Ban sunnies, Balmain cargo vest, Kenzo X H&M maxi dress, Loewe elephant bag, and Celine flats.

For all who are unaware, we recently lost a ton of content due to our Data Centre crashing and leaving us shit out of luck. Because of this, I have spent the past days trying to get our site back in order, and stressing out professionally. Our Osheaga post was the most recent posted and therefore did not make the back up cut  and died somewhere in the webosphere. I’m sure what I wrote was clever but I have no desire to attempt to replicate my thoughts from last week.  Instead I give you this little frustrated blurb to update you on the current situation. They say a picture is worth a thousand words…so here are over 20 000 words documenting our weekend at Osheaga! _W7C9039 _W7C8979 _W7C9087 _W7C8992 _W7C9073 _W7C9017 _W7C9048 _W7C9076 _W7C9054 _W7C9117 _W7C9079 _W7C9133

Flower Crowns…NOT!

I know what you are thinking…yes, that’s some very strategic boob placement I have going on there, but hey, if Halle Berry managed to keep her large mammary glands in check while winning an Oscar, I think I can handle these little guys. Have I made you uncomfortable with all the tit talk? I’m sorry, but the systematic desexualization of women is the only way we bitches are ever getting some equality up in here…so really, #sorrynotsorry alright. Now that I’ve made you uncomfortable and pushed some social commentary down your throats, time to talk about Coachella day 2!

It was pretty great. We started the day eating breakfast burritos with that kid from Modern Family, then headed to a mansion in the desert. As you can tell the view wasn’t too shabby, and we were in great company, oh hay gal pal Rocky Barnes! After a fantastic day pool/cliff side party, we took a microwave disguised as a party bus to the festival. Yes kids, that was a lame “it was real  hot” joke. Once we arrived we ate at our favourite handroll bar in the Rose Garden, and after I died and went to heaven, we watched some live music.

After James Bay stole my heart we headed to the main stage for more food and Ice Cube. Though every performance felt like a magical moment, one of the highlights from the weekend was seeing Sam Smith walk out during the Disclosure set. It also made me realize I don’t know the words to Disclosure songs, but am very good at mumbling lyrics and dancing really hard. We finished the night with a 3 hour set from one of the most iconic rock n’ roll bands of all time. So ya, Guns N’ Roses was pretty cool, in that like, unforgettable memory I will cherish forever kinda way… _W7C5665 _W7C5681 _W7C5706 _W7C5790 _W7C5716 _W7C5662 _W7C5698 _W7C5686 _W7C5708 _W7C5788 IMG_0948 IMG_1090 IMG_0983 IMG_0996 IMG_1091 IMG_1013 IMG_1890 IMG_1095 IMG_1099 IMG_1092 IMG_1082 _W7C5727 It’s a crown not a native headpiece k?

Collabo with Malandrino

_W7C4793 Montreal, Cananda

Being able to collaborate with brands you’ve admired and worn through your pre-blogging life is kinda the best part of the job. When I was a young 17 year old lass interning in New York City, I spent an awful lot of time and money at my neighbours place in the Meat Packing District. As you probably have guessed from the not so illusive title of this post, my so called “neighbour” was the Catherine Malandrino store. So when we got a call to cook up something special with this beloved brand, you could say I was kind of excited or whatever.

Last week I had the immense pleasure of previewing Catherine Malandrino’s new jewelry line, created by renowned international jewellers, Delmar. These statement pieces, feature jem stones like black agate, guava quartz, and a touch of diamonds, because god knows those never hurt. I also had the privilege of styling #OOTD’s around my favourite pieces, and pulling from the Malandrino archives from the beautiful and newly rebranded Kast boutique in Montreal. Not a bad day of work if I do say so myself. I fell in love with every piece, from my favourite aquamarine bracelet to CM’s iconic flag dress, and hope you will too! If you don’t…well, you got some deeper seeded issues I simply don’t understand. _W7C4685 _W7C4640 _W7C4711 _W7C4596 _W7C4688 _W7C4649 _W7C4744 _W7C4788 _W7C4893 _W7C4769 _W7C4860 _W7C4891 _W7C4896 _W7C4810 _W7C4931 _W7C4989 _W7C5117 _W7C5099 _W7C5126 _W7C5104 _W7C5133 It’s a three for one this week
