Happy Valentines Day my little chickens! This year we decided to celebrate my favourite Hallmark holiday with a little nostalgic romance, so what better then to pay homage to the greatest romcom of all time. I had the incredible privilege of pulling as many diamonds as I felt were necessary from Tiffany’s themselves, to recreate the most iconic scene from this 1961 gem. There is something so timeless about the brand and the film, that we thought why not commit and go all in with our first black and white post. I’m no Audrey Hepburn, but pretending, even if it was in -30°C temperature felt pretty wonderful. Also I got to pose with a Nutella danish, and wear a dangerous amount of jewels so that was cool.
Being able to do these sorts of shoots and collaborating with brands I value as iconic, is what makes my little job so incredibly special to me. I know it ain’t no Thanksgiving, but gratitude is a great word to describe the purpose of today’s holiday. Be grateful for love, the people who bring it out of you, the experiences that make you express it, and the moments that become unforgettable thanks to it. Love makes the world go ’round kids, and it also happens to be my favourite thing in the world. No really I have it tattooed on my wrist, so I’m really committed. Never forget the power of love as my girl Celine coined it, and it’s worth in our big bad world. Hallmark or not, having a day to remember it’s importance doesn’t feel so bad and manufactured to me, so go all in. Chocolates, flowers , or heck maybe diamonds, everything is fair in love and love. Now I must go celebrate with my much better half, have breakfast in bed, and wish you all a lovely ass Valentine’s Day. If you are looking for a good place to eat this AM, I heard Tiffany’s is pretty good…

Hi friends. To bleach or not to bleach, this is my question for you today. You see, ever since I first saw Vicky Cristina Barcelona I have been plagued with the notion that perhaps I should chemically kill my hair in order to obtain Scarlette Jo’s fairy locks. After this my Khaleesi obsession jumped on the bandwagon and gave me a second reason to dye my hair as close to white as a blonde can be. Elsa didn’t help either, she made my ice blonde ambition grow in epic proportions. Should I just let it go (I can’t help it), or find the courage inside me to be reckless and not think so much about the consequences attached to my every decision. I know…shit just got deep right. Imma leave it at that, but I need YOUR HELP. So I created a little poll you can all anonymously answer. The decision will be made tomorrow, so hustle little chickens.

As for the outfit, it ain’t nothing to fuss over about standard theme park getup, but goddamn those shoes are cool. Also, my attempts at wearing a leather choker seriously, were short lived. While I was pulling on the necklace attempting to stretch it out to clear an air way it snapped on me. R.I.P you masochist 90s trend that attempted to take me down with you…

Towards the end of our honeymoon the sun had finally arrived and we truly started enjoying our stay on this wonderful island even more. We decided to finally try “Sunset” restaurant, the most coveted and romantic spot to dine at in all of Santorini. And that is where our adventure began. You see all we knew was that it was in Oia, and because there are no drivable roads within the town we assumed we would just walk around and find our way as we always do. After being unsuccessful at locating it, we asked a local where we should head, and the nice greek man just told us to continue heading down. So we followed instruction…Boy did we not know what we were in for. In Oia, Donkeys utilize a path made up of steps all the way down the cliff to the water, turns out that was the way to our romantic dinner. And donkeys shit A LOT. It took us 25 minutes to walk down the cliff steps while avoiding the donkey crap, like some sort of sick obstacle course. Best part being, i wore a beautiful white maxi dress. I swore like a sailor the entire way down. I still thank god to this day that I did not wear wedges or heels, that definitely would have added a level of difficulty I was not ready for. When we arrived we did have a lovely dinner and definitely cabbed back up the mountain. The shit steps of death would simply have been too challenging in the dark, not ready for that expert level yet.
So peaceful before I knew what was coming

After missing our wedding brunch due to early morning sunrise watching, we spent the day at Donna Karan’s estate in the ocean with all of our beloved guests. We had to move the party to the pool after some party crashers took over our sea space…sharks, why did it have to be sharks. What started innocently enough, carried all the way through to our evening ‘s”Moroccan” themed BBQ, until the early hours. I should say ethnically vague themed BBQ, as with bongos and hookahs as part of the decor our Morocco was a little confused. After some heavy drinking and late night wedding cake eating it was time to call it a day…and like that our wedding weekend came to a close. It was truly the most magical couple of days Peter and I have ever shared, and we thank our loved ones for making the trip, their touching words and thoughtful gifts that made it, oh so ridiculously special for us. Love you all, and hope you’ve enjoyed these captured moments.
