Happy Saint-Patrick’s day everyone! May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light, may good luck pursue you each morning and night…and beer, I wish you great beer. Today, being one of my favourite holidays, I thought what better way to celebrate then to share our adventures in the Emerald Isle itself. Last summer we had the great pleasure, of visiting Ireland to celebrate my 24th birthday, and it may have been one of our greatest trips yet. Our mothers in tow, we spent a week driving all around the island of Ireland from south to north, and saw sights (and pubs), experienced the culture (and pubs), and made memories that have a good chance of lasting a lifetime (except the ones we made in pubs). The luck of the Irish followed us from Dublin, to Belfast, and we truly had a magical time…and many pints of Guinness as well. Along the way we snapped a couple #OOTDs that remained unpublished until now. I thought what better time then to share them with you now, as well as a few pictures from our road trip to remember. Also on this special holiday I thought I’d leave you with a few words of wisdom… You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning…
They’re in order…you’ll figure it out…

Last week I had the immense pleasure of hosting my favourite Montreal designer, Travis Taddeo‘s, VIP shopping event in his beautiful old port atelier. Reminiscent of Andy Warhol’s factory, the evening was driven by talented Montreal artists and vendors coming together, sharing their craft, and having one or two glasses of bubbly. From Deux Lion jewelry to Alice Kass lingerie, and many more, the room was filled with little wonders I wanted to make mine…and had to succumb to by the end of the night.
Having known the name Travis Taddeo as an established designer with a bold take on minimalist lines, based out of our city, I couldn’t wait to meet the man behind this distinctive aesthetic. Not only does my buddy Travis make the most remarkable garments with distinctive blends of silk, jersey, and fur, but I now know him as the sweetest soul I’ve ever had the chance to come across in my long 24 years of life. I was like a kid in a candy store, picking #OOTD options for the event earlier that week, and felt privilege to do so with the man behind the magic.
All in all, the evening was a great success and a wonderful time, though I did have a hard time watching my coveted pieces from Travis’ collection find new homes. I truly don’t know how he parts with them. In his position, I would be one hell of a hoarder…a broke hoarder surrounded by beautiful clothes. Doesn’t sound so bad at all.
TT, all day, Erryday,
Matted wool shirt and leather shorts by Travis Taddeo, Chloe “Faye” bag, Zara rings, Cartier watch and bracelets, and Tom Ford python boots.
Happy Valentines Day my little chickens! This year we decided to celebrate my favourite Hallmark holiday with a little nostalgic romance, so what better then to pay homage to the greatest romcom of all time. I had the incredible privilege of pulling as many diamonds as I felt were necessary from Tiffany’s themselves, to recreate the most iconic scene from this 1961 gem. There is something so timeless about the brand and the film, that we thought why not commit and go all in with our first black and white post. I’m no Audrey Hepburn, but pretending, even if it was in -30°C temperature felt pretty wonderful. Also I got to pose with a Nutella danish, and wear a dangerous amount of jewels so that was cool.
Being able to do these sorts of shoots and collaborating with brands I value as iconic, is what makes my little job so incredibly special to me. I know it ain’t no Thanksgiving, but gratitude is a great word to describe the purpose of today’s holiday. Be grateful for love, the people who bring it out of you, the experiences that make you express it, and the moments that become unforgettable thanks to it. Love makes the world go ’round kids, and it also happens to be my favourite thing in the world. No really I have it tattooed on my wrist, so I’m really committed. Never forget the power of love as my girl Celine coined it, and it’s worth in our big bad world. Hallmark or not, having a day to remember it’s importance doesn’t feel so bad and manufactured to me, so go all in. Chocolates, flowers , or heck maybe diamonds, everything is fair in love and love. Now I must go celebrate with my much better half, have breakfast in bed, and wish you all a lovely ass Valentine’s Day. If you are looking for a good place to eat this AM, I heard Tiffany’s is pretty good…

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our American readers today! Also stop reading this, get off you computers, and go watch football with your families and eat tons of that stale bread stuffed up your turkey’s bums. Stuffing sounds dirty for a reason kids. Speaking of delicious foods, yesterday was day 10, and the end of my Master Cleanse, and I somehow did it! The girl who couldn’t go a day without ingesting something deep fried went 10 full days only drinking lemonade. Goes to show, you are all capable of more then you think, so don’t sell yourself short, dream big and be unrealistic, because you might be more badass then anticipated. Enough with the motivational speaking, I was just writing up a little post to wish you all a wonderful, food filled day with your loved ones. My Canadian family and I will also be celebrating, as we are currently in Miami and forgot to do so last month on our country’s own Turkey day. For some reason I feel like I should keep that information a secret not to be excommunicated from Canadialand for treason, or be branded as an American imposter. This is you brain post Tom Cruise movies kids. Anywhoo this little festive looking #OOTD was shot when we were visiting our besties in Toronto last week, where the weather was lovely and Fall-ish. Have a wonderful, family fun filled Thanksgiving, and make sure to wear some lycra!
