Food and Beer For Thought
After our wedding and a beautiful honeymoon, it was finally time to get back to reality. It had been forever since I've had an #OOTD post in Montreal, and Peter and I feel so incredibly lucky to have had the travel opportunities we've had this year. It has been absolutely insane! My good friend Ashley Rosenberger, had started her own PR and event management appropriately named Rose PR, and finally being in the city we were able to attend one of her events, which happened to be right around the corner from our home! The photos were captured on our walk over. We headed to Taverne Royal Merchant, and absolutely loved the homey pub/Tortuga-esque atmosphere, and the comfort food even more. Seriously, I believe I tried everything they had, and could have gone for seconds. Hashtag fat foodie problems? The ice cold Bierbrier on tap didn't help my food baby either. I am one of the few girls I know that would prefer to drink beer over any other form of booze, so you can imagine my continuing struggle with beer gut syndrome. Anyways, it was a great, and everything kicked butt, you go Glen Coco!..or you go Rose PR, Taverne Royal Merchant, and Bierbrier! Glen Coco truly has a better ring to it...Speaking of delicious food, the 6th annual Oysterfest starts tomorrow, September 6-7th at Terrace Bonsecour and it promises to be loads of mollusk fun! Being an Oyster lover myself, 14,000 of them, sounds right up my street! Let the shucking festivities begin! My heel totally made a hole in dem pants
