I Left My Brain in the Desert

Today is Tuesday and I am still recovering from Coachella. My brain power has yet to find its way back from wherever it is it went (Tequilatown), and I'm literally scratching my head trying to type something coherent. The rest of this is probably not going to be my best work. You've been warned.

We all know that people don't go to festivals for the music anymore. They do so to get dressed in a free spirited manner, that isn't free spirited at all because the entire ensemble is usually assembled 2+ months in advance. I digress, there's a reason people invest so much time and money into looking free as can be. Because it is SO. MUCH. FUN. For millennials it's pretty much Halloween, but a clown or witch costume would probably look saner.

All this being said day one of the festival was pretty tame for me. After being bombarded by the TOMMY x GIGI collaboration all over social media a couple months back I knew I had to pull a piece for the occasion. The entire collection should have been called "we want you to wear this to Coachella" because that literal message is the only more obvious way Tommy could have gotten his message across. Guess it worked because here we are folks. Wearing look 54 worn by Bella Hadid to the first day of Coachella. All kidding aside this is probably one of my favourite festival looks ever. I felt pretty and day one was fun. There was music and stuff. It was cool. Told you this wouldn't be my best work...Day 2 of Coachella coming soon!
