Paul Costelloe Spring/ Summer 2015
London Fashion Week Day 1 continued
LFW is hectic. Am I the only one that thinks 2-3 outfit changes a day is a little fucking excessive. If you're going to do it, do it right I guess. Still stressful and unpleasant if you ask me. We headed home to prep for our second show, and I took out all the bells and whistles. After our first show I realized that "less is more" wasn't in fact a fashion "guideline" the brits were aware of. So here I am, at the tents, wearing motherfuckin' cat ears. I felt like a sailor scout, but like in a really good way. The Paul Costelloe presentation was something my vocabulary is not, somewhat elegant. The wonderful classic cuts, timeless prints in unexpected colours, paired with WTF booties and socks, absolutely satisfied my contradicting fashion quota. If there is something Mr. Costelloe knows how to do, it's add a little spunk to garments you would wear to high tea or even church!...Well you know if you add a shirt under that open blazer. I featured some photos of my favourite looks from the show taken by my wonderful husband/photographer, Mr. Peter Reid. Two down four shows to go, unless we play hooky to shop and play around London, which *spoiler alert* we did...Cara Kitty
Eugenia Kim hat (similar), vintage Gian Franco Ferre glasses, Dior "Mise-En-Dior" earrings, Zara necklace (similar) and skirt, Maison Seine Cara shirt, Current/Elliott denim shirt, Olympia Le Tan clutch (similar), Chanel J12 watch and ring, bracelets from Cartier (similar), David Yurman (similar), and Hermes, and Carmina wing tips (similar).
